Počátky firmy KRAŠ sahají do roku 1911, kdy byla v Záhřebu založena továrna na čokoládu Union. V roce 1950 vzniká sloučením firem Union, Bizjak a několika menších výroben firma Josip Kraš. Značka Union se objevovala na obalech až do konce padesátých let.

The history of KRAŠ begins in the year 1911, with a foundation of "Union" - chocolate and candy factory - in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. Confectionery plants Union, Bizjak and several small plants were merged into one company Josip Kraš in 1950. The brand Union was used until end of 1950´s.
