in 1814. His herit Léon CANTALOUP opened new factory in Arles-sur-Tech
in 1927. In 1941 company moved to Perpignan. Company was renamed CANTALOU
in 1962.
In 1981 company acquired PUPIER chocolate factory with brands CEMOI, AIGUEBELLE, UNION, PRADO. Chocolaterie de l'Abbaye de Tinchebray was acquired in 1982. Chocolaterie SUISSE NORMANDE from Paris was acquired and merged with Chocolaterie de´l abbaye in 1983. Company Coppelia from Chambery was acquired in 1987. Chocolaterie d'Aquitaine from Bégles was acquired in 1993. |
