MEURISSE - Antwerpen

Eduard de Beukelaer založil malé pekařství roku 1850. Firma později začala také s výrobou čokolády. DE BEUKELAER se stala spolu s dalším cukrovinkářským výrobcem VICTORIA součástí společnosti General Biscuits roku 1965. Roku 1986 převzala výrobu pečiva firma Danone a výrobu čokolády firma Jacobs Suchard. Adolphe Meurisse  založil čokoládovnu roku 1845. Meurisse vyráběl čokolády značek Boy Scout či Perette. Firma Meurisse se stala součástí firmy General chocolates roku 1969.

Eduard de Beukelaer founded small bakery in 1850. Company later also started production of chocolates. DE BEUKELAER was acquired together with other biscuit and chocolate maker VICTORIA by General Biscuits in 1965. Biscuit bussiness was purchased by Danone in 1986 and chocolate bussiness by Jacobs Suchard in 1986. Adolphe Meurisse  established chocolate factory in 1845. Meurisse produced chocolate bars as Boy Scout or Perette. Chocolate units of Meurisse, De Beukelaer and Victoria were joined in 1969 as  General chocolates. .
